So I decided to go with making Part 4 of Resident Evil S.A.R.S. over making a different animation (Parody, original or otherwise [As much as I'd like to start an original series]). I decided to go with it seeing as I already had a few ideas kicking around, but I definitely want to improve more between the Pt3/Pt4 transition seeing as there wasn't much between the Pt2/Pt3 transition; I also wasn't happy with the outcome of Pt3 all that much either, I mean the trailer for Pt4 at the end looks twice as better than the entire animation before hand.
Note: The stuff in the trailer for Pt4 probably won't happen at all, it's just a small feature I decided on that I thought would work well at the end.
Essentially, the speed and character design for Pt4 will change dramatically; I want the animation to travel faster and define the characters so they don't look like cardboard cut outs. In which case I plan on shading the characters this time around, something I wanted to do for Pt3 that never happened; I also plan on cell shading it so the characters stand out better from the backgrounds with a big thick border line around each graphic.
The name for Pt4 I decided on also was "Resident Evil: Leon A" rather than "S.A.R.S.", as much as it isn't named the same, it'll still be the spiritual predecessor and continue the story. In which case Pt5 will be "Claire B", it also means I'll only have two animations based on RE2, I think that's alright though for covering both main characters and sub characters.
Whether there'll be any stabs at McD's in this is beyond me yet, I'm not sure how to add it in until Code Veronica really, I've already decided that the U.B.C.S. will don the McDonalds logo rather than the Umbrella logo and will be called the M.B.C.S., but Ronald himself won't appear until CVX. I also don't know what to do with Wesker now *Hmms* I either cut him compltetely or just have him as a random extra here and there where relevant.
I think that's it in a nutshell. Puts something more interesting in my NG blog anyways. Ciao!
